The composite yarn (line) is uniform outside and consists of yarns of different compositions. There are two types:
1. Core yarn The center yarn is covered by fibers or another yarn. For example, the elastic thread has a rubber band at the center and its outer circumference is wrapped with yarn. Another example is polyester-cotton yarn, which is wrapped with high quality on the outside of polyester filaments. The cotton outer casing allows the yarn to be sewn, while the polyester core makes the yarn strong.
2. Wrapped yarn Wraps around the outer circumference of a flawless fiber bundle (staple or filament).
